As part of ActiveXchange’s SportsEye ACADEMY, Director of Recreation and Waterways at the City of Melbourne Anthony Neal, joined ActiveXchange to share his experience using ActiveXchange Aquatic and Leisure Social Value tool.
Hockey NSW was looking for ways to help more people play. ActiveXchange used SportsEye to assess Hockey's opportunity and focussed their attention to Blacktown as the data showed high levels of demand, low conversation rates, high future unmet demand, and lack of facilities (supply).
Liverpool City Council used SportsEye to validate a proposal by a developer to provide sports facilities as part of residential development. LCC was able to validate the demand for the proposed sports within the catchment of the development site. This provided staff with confidence to support the proposal and demonstrated community outcomes.
Baseball NSW used SportsEye as a central part of their State Facility Strategy to identify potential areas for member growth and gaps in infrastructure provision.
